Kodowo + EDICOM
How Kodowo works alongside EDICOM
EDICOM is officially certified as an electronic invoicing service provider in the UAE, operating its own Peppol Access Point. It positions itself as a technology/EDI platform provider, not an accounting or ERP product.
The real relationship
EDICOM isn't a competitor — it's an integration target.
Like ClearTax, EDICOM is a pure ASP — Kodowo's actual integration target, not a substitute for it. Kodowo handles the ERP-side validation and PINT-AE normalization; EDICOM's Peppol Access Point handles transmission to the FTA once your ASP relationship is with them.
How it actually works
Kodowo handles the ERP side
Connects to your existing ERP or accounting system, validates every invoice against the PINT-AE structure, then hands off a compliant, normalized file to EDICOM.
EDICOM handles transmission
EDICOM is an accredited ASP — its job is transmitting compliant invoices to the FTA, not fixing non-compliant ones. That validation step is exactly what Kodowo does first.
No vendor lock-in on either side
Kodowo is ASP-agnostic; EDICOM works with the ERP you already have. Neither one requires you to migrate off the other.
One audit trail across the handoff
Every invoice's validation, submission, and outcome is tracked end to end, not lost at the boundary between systems.
